After my last four articles, I can hear some saying, “Ok, I’ve got a vision, I’ve taken the first step, I’ve even done a self check-up to make sure I’m not blocking my breakthrough but how do I know that I can actually accomplish this BIG vision God has placed before me?”

You can always be confident that God’s vision is bigger than yours.  What you think is impossible, God thinks is just the tip of the iceberg.  You say I can go a mile, God says you can go 100 miles.   Why is it that my vision is not as big as God’s vision?  Because you can only see with fleshly eyes.  You can only think finite thoughts.  God is infinite in wisdom, He sees the beginning and the end.  He knows what talents and gifts he placed in you and He sent Holy Spirit to live in you and empower those talents and gifts.  God’s spoken Word is creative (think Genesis 1).  Psalm 29:4 says “The voice of the Lord is powerful.”   He has spoken your name and declared your vision before you were formed in your mother’s womb.  He created you for purpose!  God says, “but indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth” (Ex 9:16)  He has placed His power in you for this purpose!  Wow!  How exciting!

How powerful is He?  Exodus 15:6, “Your right hand O’ Lord has become glorious in power…”  Psalm 62:11, “God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this, That power belongs to God.”  Psalm 66:3,How awesome are your works!  Through the greatness of your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to you.”  Matthew 9:6, “But that you know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins.”   Luke 4:14, “Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit.”  Luke 5:17, “and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.”  Luke 6:19, “And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for the power went out from Him and healed them all.”

God has given that same power to His sons and daughters.  He wants us to act on His behalf, with His power flowing through us to accomplish His works on the earth.  He has called us for such a time as this.  He has endued us with power to fulfill our purpose.

Luke 24:49  Jesus told His disciples, “Behold I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”  Acts 1:8, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.”  The Promise of the Father is the Holy Spirit.  Holy Spirit has come to empower you.

God says that “he who overcomes and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations…” (Rev 226)  Are you an overcomer?  God has promised to give us His power to fulfill all His purposes.  What God has called you to do, you have been empowered to do!  Don’t let Satan tell you otherwise.  Satan doesn’t want you to realize the power inside of you.  He wants you to wimp out and cower under the attacks he sends your way.  Remember John 10:10 says that “the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”  The devil wants to steal your vision, kill your purpose, and destroy your confidence that you are what God said you are and can do what God said you can do!  Remember, “the God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people.”  (Psalm 68:35)  The same power that Jesus gave His disciples – the power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matt 10:1, Mark 3:15)  is available to you today.  He has sent Holy Spirit to live within us and to empower us to do all that He calls us to do.  God will not require something of us that we can’t accomplish.  He is a good God.  He seeks to give us good things, to bless us above and beyond.  He wants us to live life more abundantly.  That abundant life includes power over the flesh, power over the world’s system, and power over the devil.  You CAN accomplish your vision!  You CAN fulfill your purpose!  You CAN be victorious!  I certainly plan to!  Because…

 “I’ve Got the Power!”
